I’m a paramedic and have had chronic lower back pain for more years than I care to remember. I have tried everything from pain killers to massage therapy and everything in between without any results until I tried a prototype fiber optic RLT back brace device created for me to test by H. Lee Wainwright. It didn’t even require a day for me to feel the difference. It was the first time in many years that my back was not in pain. His fiber optic prototype performed what I consider nothing short of a miracle.
It’s wonderful to reconnect with you, especially as I continue to address my Parkinson’s Disease. As you know, I am a Futurist and Technology Consultant involved in GITEX GLOBAL, the largest technology conference in the world, held annually in Dubai. Unfortunately, I am also among the many affected by Parkinson’s, a condition that has made life challenging for millions worldwide.
My role as a consultant grants me the privilege of exploring visionary and disruptive technologies, enabling clients to create “Windows Into The Future.” At the same time, it requires a cautious approach, since many promising innovations ultimately prove ineffective.
While I am not an expert in Red Light Therapy, nor qualified to identify the most successful sources, my research into its potential benefits for Parkinson’s intrigued me. As a 15-year PD patient, I was especially interested when you, a long-time respected friend and expert in the field, offered to provide me with a therapy cap specifically designed for my condition.
I accepted with the usual skepticism of my profession, but appreciated the simplicity of your prototype, which allowed me to test it independently without influence or obligation. Initially, I noticed a slight increase in energy. Travel and business interrupted the test, but upon resuming at home in the south of France, I again felt more energy. Remarkably, within two weeks, I walked across my garden without a cane, experiencing improved balance and body control.
A few days later, you visited with your lovely wife and business partner, Fumiko. Wanting a witness, I waited until after our supermarket trip. I carried two heavy bags from the car to the house—something I hadn’t managed in years without losing balance and falling. This became the beginning of my appreciation for the Lee Wainwright Red Light Therapy technology, and left me with one overwhelming question:
“Where have you been all my life?”
Thank you, Lee.
I had a 6” black and blue bruise on my arm that stretched from my elbow to my shoulder, so Lee gave me a 3” square fiber optic RLT fabric patch to test on it. I applied the patch on my arm one night, but since it only covered half of the bruise, the other half was not exposed to the light output. When I awoke, I removed the patch and was pleasantly surprised to see the area under the patch was perfectly clear with no sign of black or blue coloring while the part of the bruise outside of the patch remained dark in color. His fiber optic RLT device is amazing!
After sleeping with an experimental fiber optic red light therapy prototype inside my pillowcase for several weeks, I was delightfully surprised to find that the side of my face with wrinkles and age spots that encountered the pillow had totally disappeared and what remained was perfectly smooth, clear skin and I have photos to prove it! Sadly, I slept on my right side so the wrinkles and age spots on the left side of my face were still there. That gave me the idea to create a sleeping mask to address eye issues and to eliminate wrinkles around both eyes. After testing a prototype mask, I also noticed that I slept much deeper and awoke in the morning with more energy. Using a “Smart Watch” to monitor Circadian rhythms, I noticed an interesting pattern emerging when I wore the mask. When I didn’t wear it, the light sleep to deep sleep ratio was always around 3 to 1 with mostly light sleep, but after wearing it for even one night, the pattern reversed itself and the deep sleep was three times longer than the light sleep cycle. However, what I found to be even more interesting was when I stopped wearing the mask, the data from my smart watch shocked me. The first night the ratio was still slightly in favor of deeper sleep; the second night the ratio was equal; and it took about 4 nights for the ratio to return to 3 to 1 in favor of light sleep, so the reversing effect took several nights to degrade back to normal even after I stopped wearing the mask!
Back in 2019, I struggled with severe eczema that made everyday life very difficult. The itching was so intense that I often had to cover my forearms in oatmeal paste just to find a bit of temporary relief. The inflammation and rashes were constant, and my skin barrier felt broken and raw. It affected not only my comfort, but also my confidence and ability to sleep. When I began using Wainwright’s fiber-optic Red Light therapy unit, the difference was remarkable. Within just a few minutes of the first session, the itching that had tormented me for months subsided, bringing me a level of comfort I had almost forgotten was possible. Over the next 72 hours, the visible inflammation and rashes disappeared, and my skin showed clear signs of recovery. For me, the most powerful aspect of Red Light Therapy was how quickly it worked: soothing itchiness in minutes, calming inflammation in days, and helping my skin restore its natural balance. Instead of constantly reaching for temporary remedies, I finally felt like I was addressing the root of the discomfort. This experience gave me not just healthier skin, but also peace of mind. Being able to manage eczema flare-ups more effectively has allowed me to focus on living my life rather than battling constant irritation.
